More challenging than expected, especially the first part uphill. Hiking poles are highly recommended! Gradients of 25%+ are not uncommon for long stretches. It's not dangerous. Good physical condition is definitely required. Walking down is a breeze, although there are still a few small steep sections. But easily doable.
Short hike from Aiguines to the viewpoint. From the town we walked steadily uphill along a root and stone path. It was worth it. From the observation platform we had a great view of the Verdon Gorge with the blue Verdon and in the other direction of the Lac de S.Croix.
