Although we're only driving past the Malga Masi, we're struck by the many animals (llamas, rabbits, chickens) kept in (too) cramped enclosures in the blazing sun. Cruelty to animals!
The tour started comfortably from Levico Terme, then along the Brenta river to Noaledo. Here the asphalt road went straight uphill (>20%). Only when I got into the forest did I go on a dilapidated gravel road and finally up to the paraglider launch site (in Vetriolo) on a gravel forest road, which became rather muddy and difficult at the very end, steadily uphill with a gradient of between 10 and 18%. I sometimes pushed because it wasn't as strenuous as riding. In between, an older couple came towards me on E-MTBs. And the woman rode down as fast as I rode up. From Vetriolo, a well-ridable gravel road with a gradient of 10 - 16% led steadily uphill. In between, I even saw a she-wolf standing there fearlessly and not moving (see picture). Past the Malga Masi, the E5 continued steadily uphill. And then there was snow on the road. It was so sticky that my bike weighed at least 2 kg more.
Great route with lots of views. A lot of it goes through the forest...it's good in the heat 👍. The descent is great...apart from a short section of the trail that is challenging, or you have to push for about 200 meters.
Today we went up to the she-wolf😁This sculpture🐺was made from storm wood and is about 6m high 🙄😁 The she-wolf of Lagorai is a work by the Venetian artist Marco Martalar. Two months of work at an altitude of 1600 meters in Trentino, more precisely at Pian della Casara in Vetriolo Terme, Levico Terme
Tour at the foot of Panarotta up to Vetriolo Vecchio and descent to Levico from a moderately technical but fun path
Between Masi Rossi and Campiello I passed through private property .... the din was pissed off like crazy. I have not seen any signs! Anyway you can go from the street below.
