A surprise! Beautiful round trip. Departure and arrival at the Levico railway station. After a small episode in Tenna for a whim (not needed). The last descent on a dirt road was beautiful (good mastery of MTB)
Trentino | "Laghi di Levico e Caldonazzo" MTB Ring S. Cristoforo - Bosentino - Campregheri - Levico - S. Cristoforo The idea was to discover this beautiful area of nearby Trentino, in the almost winter season. The territory is beautiful, the views of the lake fantastic, but already now the snow and ice in the woods make the route difficult where there is a certain difference in altitude. You start frozen and find yourself overheated, or pushing, so you need training, breath and wide tires. The surface is 40% on secondary roads with little traffic, 40 on forest roads and a 20 on very steep paths, especially on the climbs of the initial part. Many small jewels, such as some truly beautiful ancient parish churches, wooden crucifixes in the woods, typical Trentino farms, snow-capped peaks in the distance, no one around. A route that is definitely worth doing even in the summer, when the green will replace the white, and the ground will be drier.
In drizzle🤷♂️ to the two bodies of water Lago di Levico and Lago di Caldonazo😁. Actually a nice MTB route🤨, if only it weren't for the drizzle🌧️ and every root was slippery😝🤟. But even though the fog was hanging low and the rain 🌧️ soaked us through, it was a very impressive ride😊. The wellness with sauna afterwards makes up for the cold fingers😂
A short but really beautiful walk around the two lakes Levico and Caldonazzo. This included a visit to the Benno Fortress (entrance fee!)
