This route was planned by komoot.
Double the time it says I was hiking to get a more realistic picture, especiallyif loke me only daytripping on the island. Well worth doing, but stay hydrated and bring a pack lunch as there is nothing once you leave Hugh Town (which you do revisit after the barracks) Recommend Hugh Street Cafe for a coffe and good breakfast, and coop meal deal for the pack lunch. Icecream from the chippy on the way out of town is really good to, ignore that it's a chippy, it's the good cornish stuff. Lots of history with great views and crystal clear waters. Let me know how you get on.
