Barranco del Río Santo – circular from Albuñuelas via the Camino de los Arrieros (PR-A 308)

To get started, choose one of the 3 free hiking car parks in the small town. We chose the first one at the beginning of the city and were able to marvel at the flair of the small streets and twisted houses. The tour was completely unknown to Komoot, but apparently a popular round for many locals. Still not overcrowded. First it was a wide beautiful path uphill. Actually, the hiking trail should also lead around the river bed. But since many locals took the path through the dried-up river bed, which also looked much greener and more interesting, we took this one. At first our feet stayed dry in the hiking boots, but as the path got narrower and greener, the trickle slowly developed into a stream in a green tunnel of plants and thorns. The will to turn back was too weak, as a small black path out of the river has indicated and the feet were already wet. We then chose this one and came through
