This route was planned by komoot.
Beautiful ride with plenty of opportunities for a break and some photos. Some pieces were impressively beautiful to do, and some spicy (18% passed 1x). Lighting necessary with 2 tunnels on the way. Temperature was higher than expected (33 degrees around 2 p.m.)
With a cozy and 💪 seven. A soaking wet start, but dry after two hours. A beautiful route along the lake. (But busy along the main roads!)
Tour of the lake starting from Savine le lac, a magnificent route best done in the morning in summer
After La Breole and before St Vincent-les-Forts, do not go down to the campsite and do not take the small road which passes through the woods. Stay on the main road
A route with a splendid panorama under a bright blue sky. A hilly route between 3 and 8%. Be careful of traffic between the south of the dam and the entrance to Ubaye. A variation is possible by taking the Pontis pass - after crossing the Ubaye and possibilities of going towards Savignes le Lac without going through Embrun. A variation towards Reallon; beautiful 8% slopes and a steep 22% and above all impressive views. A recommended outing for the thighs, and the panoramas make you forget or reward the effort.
