Today we wistfully laced up our hiking boots one last time. The holiday is coming to an end. Today's tour was supposed to be a pleasure tour. This means not too long, not too many meters of elevation and a rustic stop at an alpine hut. We combined all of this with this tour. It went through the wonderful Wanser Valley. As it is very hot at the moment, we were glad that most of it went through the forest. Some sections were quite steep. Almost at the top, we took a short break at the Seeberg Alm. Then a short way further you reach the Seebergsee. A beautiful spot there. It invites you to linger. Now we went down the Jägersteig. It is quite a challenge. You need to be sure-footed here. It is quite steep with lots of sharp bends. For me, that was the most strenuous part of the hike. When you get to the bottom you can see the beautiful Wanser Alm. We really liked it there. On the last day we had a really good time there. The last part is just a wide road to the car. This runs along the stream and is accompanied by the ringing of cowbells. A wonderful final hike😊👍😍
Beautiful and interesting route. It is advisable not to go down the Jägersteig in wet weather, then the path is quite slippery
Beautiful path to the Wanseralm and then via the Jagersteig to the Seebergalm. Here is a rustic, ancient dairyman who offers homemade Fichteler.
Unfortunately, I only started recording during the tour. The tour is well signposted from the parking lot.
