This route was planned by komoot.
We parked in the rest area of the natural oasis and from here we followed the signs for the geological path (path 18). During the first section, you go along the river, after about 2 km the route follows a provincial road for about 1 km. When the road makes a big bend in the rock face in front of you you will see a cave. Just after the curve there is a sign to continue the path. This stretch has a steep slope and is the most tiring part, also because it is exposed to the sun. At the crossroads, continue left towards the village of Castrovalva. We lengthened the route slightly because we went up along the wildlife path (where you can admire a beautiful panorama) and then go back towards the village. After a brief stop we continued the journey always following the indications until returning to the starting point.
