From around km 18 there is a 6.4 km long, perfectly straight, beautifully made cycle path. Then you turn right and have another 4.5 km of the same cycle path. Right again and 4 km straight on on a very quiet road (1 car).

Today we drove around the Lac Lacanau.
Was a nice round, even if some designated bike paths would rather have earned the name single trail. 😮
Our bikes survived it unscathed.

But the area has to be praised: I have rarely seen such a dense network of signposted cycle paths. 👍
