Monte Ferruccia 2005m and Monte Marrone 1805m from Monument to the Fallen of the Regions of Italy Castelnuovo al Volturno (1040m). From Castelnuovo al Volturno follow the road of the Monument to the Fallen of the Regions of Italy until the asphalted part ends. Follow the dirt road that goes up towards Monte Marrone (path M7). At about 1415m leave the dirt road to take a path that is not very visible and starts in a southerly direction in the woods and then bends towards the West. Follow the traverse (marks on the rocks) and then at a certain point head more decisively towards the North. After crossing a still wooded part, you go to take the crest that you follow to the summit of Ferruccia. From the summit in our case, descent towards the east without following paths towards the underlying plateau in front of Monte Marrone. Descent along the M7 dirt road.
