Pleasant and simple walk around the lake of Antrona and Campliccioli. In autumn, the view with autumn colors is pleasant. Availability of water during the journey in the fountains of the huts that you meet. Possibility to eat on the way back to the parking lot where there is a restaurant bar.
Beautiful itinerary, with a double circular tour of the Antrona and Campliccioli lakes. Ready to go, after a few hundred meters, you walk along the suggestive walkway suspended over the lake for the passage under the Sajont waterfall! Continue and before finishing the ring, you turn onto the beautiful mule track that leads to the dam of Lake Campliccioli. You follow the ring with breathtaking views and landscapes and on the return stretch you walk on ancient tracks, where small carts used to transport materials for the construction of the dam passed. Lunch at the Lago Pineta restaurant. https://youtube.com/shorts/DjujXnq7lf4?si=qW4zZaywHo_vP3pM
A great two-lake hike with a beautiful view of the two lakes, high mountains and glaciers. Very steep and rocky trail from Lago Antrona up to the Lago di Campliccioli reservoir. Unfortunately, the most interesting part of the tour was closed due to a landslide. Here you can find tracks and equipment from the mining industry of the past. It's a shame, but it was still a beautiful day. The car park is very suitable for spending the night. Right by Lago Antrona you can fortify yourself after the tour with a delicious pizza. It gets busy at the weekend, with many people coming from the region....
Pleasant walk that winds through the Alta Valle Antrona Natural Park. We start from the Antronapiana area (900m), right in front of a heliport (alternatively you can start from the point where the Ovesca Torrent cuts Via Cimallegra). In a few minutes you reach the shores of Lake Antrona and then climb continuously up to the Sajont waterfall (1,330m) and from here you proceed to the dam of Lake Campliccioli. The original idea was to go all the way around the lake but a recent landslide prevented us from doing so, forcing us to reach Alpe Granariol (1,460m) and then go back along the same path. We then descended back to Lake Antrona passing through Alpe Piana to finally enjoy a well-deserved stop at the Lago Pineta Restaurant in Antronapiana (www.lagopineta.com)
