Naval (Nabal in Aragonese) has a population of 270 inhabitants (INE 2017); Due to its geographical location at the foot of the Sierra de Arbe, it was until 1989, the year of the construction of a new route on the A-138 road that avoided passing through the Alto del Pino pass and therefore through the Villa de Naval, the natural way of communication of the Somontano with the Sobrarbe and with France.
