Elche with the “Ruta del Palmeral”, a two kilometer long footpath through numerous palm groves, is quite impressive. We followed the designated hiking trail (white/yellow lines), but only partially because the route led through a completely unattractive area. (noted on the pictures) We then walked to the Huerto del Cura, unfortunately it was already closed. ...next time....
