Poor path markings. Don't be too tall otherwise you won't be able to get under the branches.😁😁😁
A fantastic 11km hike through the Sierra Segaría. The tour is extremely beautiful and varied – mountains and sea views, stunning vegetation, an old aqueduct path, and several caves! Top-notch. But: the tour is also quite challenging. Firstly, there's quite a bit of elevation gain, and the paths aren't always easy to find and are often overgrown with palm trees or thorn bushes. Furthermore, in several places, it's no longer a hike but rather a scramble (almost climbing). And in several places (at the old quarry), the tour is even a bit dangerous, as you walk right along the edge, where it drops at least 20-30m (you might want to avoid the area). But the scenery is fantastic! I recommend starting 20-30 minutes before sunrise. Then you'll have climbed the first mountain in diffused light and have a magnificent view of the sunrise in the valley above the sea. Furthermore, the rest of the ascent is mostly in the shadow of the mountains. Luckily, the sunny stages are only on the descent!
Magnificent views, but quite hard trails.
