Ring tour towards the Madonna del Ghisallo

The road from Como to Bellagio, in addition to being a pain in the ass with these continuous ups and downs, is currently dotted with micro roadworks that make traffic, in some short stretches, alternating. However, arriving in Bellagio at midday and starting the climb to Ghisallo under the blazing sun is the right punishment for those who, like me, are a supporter of disengagement on climbs, on flats, on descents and in life in general.

N.B. before Bellagio, Koomot made me take a small road on the right which connects to the climb to Ghisallo, but besides being very steep it becomes a path that cannot be traveled on bdc, in fact I had to continue on foot for about 1 km.

The last route of this trip. Many quieter parts, then beautiful views and a very nice climb to Ossigo :-)

Today back 😭, so the route is a bit shorter. Drive to Bellagio on the eastern shore of the left arm of Lake Como. Gentle climbs and descents with moderate car traffic. The other side of the lake is very bright, a charming view. Bellagio full of tourists. Return to Como on the right arm already in full sun, which is already strong here, very noticeable on the skin. A very pleasant route, quite low, at the level of the lake, on the other side vertical rocks. The climate is a bit like Madeira, except that the vastness of the ocean instead of the other side of Como. Even less car traffic. In Onno a beautiful empty rocky beach, again with this phenomenal view of Como and the mountains. 😍. Gentle climb through the forested area, a few safety pins, some kind of tunnel. Very pleasant. Descent to Asso, photo by the waterfall and return to Como. Lunch, some logistics, train, plane and home. It was a good trip. Beautiful views, strong climbs, great machines*, even better travel companions, the charming town of Como with a lot of restaurants.
