Our one-week vacation in Austria 🇦🇹 began with a relaxing 3-lake tour 🚵 along Lake Wolfgang, Lake Attersee, and Lake Mondsee. The tour alternated between beautiful gravel and asphalt paths between the mountains ⛰️🏔️⛰️. This meant the tour had very little elevation gain, making it suitable for less ambitious riders. The mountain and lake scenery is stunning 🤩 and always invites you to linger. A small but wonderful highlight of our tour was the bike tunnel at Lake Mondsee. It goes a few meters into the rock, and the temperature suddenly drops by around 10°C 🥶, a real relief in midsummer temperatures 😅. As a reward, we had an ice cream 🍦 by the lake, and then we cycled the last few kilometers back to our camp 🏕️. A great start to a relaxing gravel holiday with sun ☀️ and lots of beautiful impressions.
The perfect gravel tour: all possible types of paths and surfaces, an absolutely varied route and the "mountain bike part" through a beautiful and quiet valley with a very challenging path - simply a dream tour 🥰👍💪😁😇🙂↕️. The only drawback: after Bad Ischl on a cycle path directly along the main road and then after the turn-off ON the main road for about 2 km 🤦♂️🥴🥴 - you can't do anything, you have to go through...🤷♂️🤷♂️. Otherwise a very, very varied gravel tour that leaves nothing to be desired - highly recommended...🤗😍👌👍
