The 3 hut hike takes you through the Dr. Vogelgesang Gorge to the Bosruckhütte, on to the Rohrauerhaus and the Hofalm and takes you back to your starting point.
A beautiful gorge, the longest in Upper Austria and the second longest in Austria. Not quite without effort with 333 meters in altitude over 500 steps and 2.74 km long. Then we passed 3 huts. A stop is worthwhile for all three 😉😊 The tour is not all the way to the parking lot because a thunderstorm surprised us and a friendly forest worker took us down.
The start and finish point is the parking lot at Dr. Vogelgesang - Klamm, then it goes through the spectacular gorge over wooden paths and ladders to the gorge exit, on to the Bosruckhütte and then uphill to the Rohrauer Haus (friends of nature). There the path branches off to the left in the direction of Hofalm and leads along the Pyhrgas with wonderful views. From this refuge, follow the markings and return to the parking lot.
