Hirschlach Trail

Nice trail, fun. Entry is at the Hirschlach Hut, right at the fork in the road. Trail has been rideable in the Baiersbronner bike concept since 2017.

Walter Hut Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

One of the best trails in Baiersbronn. Great panorama and varied trail between S1 and in places to S2 +, but never unfahrbar. The lower section is a bit more careful.

Höll Trail

Highlight • Trail

The upper passage is quite steep, but it makes you feel good. Better only when it's dry. It gets more leisurely around the bottom.

The trail tour was really fun. There are a few tricky pieces in there. The round topped the T6 Hirschkopf Trail Tour. Highly recommended, but you should bring some MTB riding technique with you. Thank you

Trail Reviews

Sven Cäsar
November 8, 2024, Schwarzwald Trailtour vom Feinsten!! 😍😍

As the woman had to go to Stuttgart for training today and I had the day off, I was asked to be the driver. After nine hours without anything to do, I urgently needed something to do. Well, the Black Forest isn't far, the woman said, take your bike with you. Nobody in their right mind would say no to that. So, yesterday evening I prepared everything and looked for routes. The information about Baiersbronn quickly became more frequent. There are supposed to be designated trails here, which is actually quite problematic in Baden-Württemberg due to the 2 meter rule. T6 or T8 should be very downhill-heavy circuits. As I had a lot of time and the T8 was the longer route, I decided to go for it. No mistake! The trails are absolutely amazing. Steep, narrow, rough, with a few hairpin bends and covered in roots and stones. I love technical things, exactly my thing. At least most of them. In one or two passages it wasn't quite my cup of tea and I took the footpath. But that was maybe 200 meters in total. The rest was top notch. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the uphill sections. These are almost exclusively on forest highways. Rather boring, then, but at least effective and relatively energy-saving. So somehow not so bad after all. Because the climbs are all steep and not a little bit steep. In general, the tour is very demanding. The steep and bumpy trails require a lot of upper body strength and maximum concentration. The steep ramps require strong legs. Nothing to compare with home, a completely different caliber. This was definitely not the last time I would be here.

You can't do this tour often enough. Last year alone, today with great friends 🚵🚵🚵. So you can share the great joy of the trail. And what should I say? Once again MEGA 😍! I'm curious when we will rock this tour again. Hopefully soon. The Black Forest simply has great trails to offer 👏

End of January and 16° ☀️ Nice tour, with a great view on the way up. Towards the end, it's a long, relaxed ride along the Murg before the trail starts again. Down... very varied, well-laid-out trails, mostly S2, but also quite rough and S3, I made it through this time 😂 The pump went out every now and then... But everything was rideable, I rolled over it at a bit of speed. Next time I'll try the T4.5 👍 Baiersbronn 👍👍

Very nice but also exhausting round. Lots of views and many trails that are far more technical than on the T6 circuit. This is where the hardtail and the bike reach their limits.

Today the steep slopes tour was on the plan. A nice round around the Murgtal 👍🏻 Some trails are definitely not for beginners. Partly quite steep and quite rough 😂😬 The Walterhütten Trail in the lower part was the hardest of all, so fighting was the order of the day 🔥 A really successful weekend 👍🏻

Awesome height profile Although only 14 percent trail share but they have it all. 😁😁

Crazy trial round, highly recommended. Some very heavy pieces in there.

T8 - Steep slope tour. The name is program! I did the tour with the bio bike and actually did it, without any shortcuts. Although in the end I felt extremely like it 😄 Well, the tour started at the outdoor pool parking lot. The first climb came in less than 5 minutes and you knew immediately what was going on. I wasn't even awake and no small ramp to warm up for starters. I usually think of warming up, or even stretching exercises, as much as Woody Harrelson thinks of Zombieland. But here I had to get off and take a break 😅 Pro tip for everyone who also wants to ride the T8 Tour: it stays that way with the climbs... I was still highly motivated and thought: ahh, it will definitely become more casual over time. No it won't. You always screw yourself up all the way to then ride down a trail. The trails are mostly rocky. Otherwise many forest sections without a view. For shade. All in all a tough tour, but completed 🚵‍♀️🏆😎
