Soon the asphalt turns to gravel and you are right in the middle of your adventure.
Now the path leads you through the forest and offers you the necessary cooling. And here the two streams are also waiting to be crossed by you. Are you brave enough to just let it roll? A little fun is allowed... Soon you will leave the forest and give it your all again on your way up to the lake on the Resterhöhe. your wages? An absolutely gorgeous landscape that is the perfect backdrop for a break.
Let your gaze wander towards the south towards the high peaks of the "Hohe Tauern" national park and enjoy! There are numerous alpine huts available for a stop. You can also extend your tour a bit and drive up the 2,036-meter-high "Two-Thousander" mountain. Otherwise you drive straight down the valley and you will get back to the train station in Mittersill.
