The Hainich National Park is a must for hikers. Fairytale forests, looking like primeval forests, you could even film "Lord of the Rings" there?!😂😂 The forest paths are real nature trails. Beautifully designed theme points from the Brothers Grimm and from the Roman era. The trees are very well described and presented on information boards, thanks to the builders!!!👍👍
Good day, Done before going to the toilet and having breakfast in the hotel. The tour had barely started and was over again and I am only publishing it here because it is part of a day trip: Wildcat Village. I took the suggested tour from Touringenstempeldingsda. It's something for children. But well done. The tour name remains today -- - as in the original.
@🌸 Küstenkind87 🌸 Today we walked 3 great adventure trails in Hainich. Thank you very much for the lovely day.. 😘🔆
... third round completed. We made good use of the weather and collected stamps diligently. 👍
The Hainich UNESCO World Heritage Site is truly impressive. If you want to get a sense of its diverse beauty in just one day, these four tours are a good choice. They are very varied and, due to their length, also ideal for hikes with children. There is plenty for all ages to discover along the trails, engaging all the senses. Stage 4: The Wildcat Trail initially winds through a younger forest with isolated mature beeches. This is followed by a very diverse section with gnarled old oaks, other impressive tree shapes, and plenty of deadwood. You can gain a deep insight into the structure of the forest and, with a bit of luck, perhaps even catch a glimpse of one or two forest dwellers. Climbing elements along the trail invite young and old to test their climbing skills. After a short loop through the dense forest and across light open spaces, you arrive in the meadow behind the wildcat clearing after half an hour, where benches invite you to rest. A fire pit with a grill and benches can be used upon request for a family outing to the Wildcat Village. The trail is barrier-free and therefore suitable for strollers and active wheelchair users (with an escort).
The wildcat enclosure is a NABU project. There are also lynxes there, Emil and Kaja with 3 cubs. A short (30 minute) tour and feeding is done 4 times a day. You can learn a lot of interesting facts about wild cats and lynxes in Germany. If you are ever in Hainichen I can only recommend it. There is then a small circular path through the forest (Cat's Schleichweg 1.5 km) and a larger one with a viewing tower and sculptures (approx. 6 km).
The Wildkatzenschleichpfad leads over a very beautiful round through nature (barrier-free). And you would like to be a wild cat again and do gymnastics along the rope course.
