LandStreifer Schermbeck – Üfter Mark

Thank you @Thomas🌿🥾🚲 for the inspiration for this really great round, of course combined with a visit to the "old homeland", I didn't know the area from this perspective either. 😉🔝 I'm always amazed at what great trees we have here... 😇☀️😎🙋🏻‍♂️

Green, green, green - you can't get more nature than this🌱🌿☘️🍃. I guided six friendly Meet5 women and one quota man through the Üfter Mark today. A tour for all the senses: we hardly met anyone, we enjoyed bird concerts the whole time, the air smelled of fresh wood after the rain, and on every path, the forest floor felt pleasant and springy underfoot ☺️. A tour to unwind and recharge your batteries - absolutely recommended 🤩. Afterwards, we had delicious cake at the Limping bakery in Schermbeck 😋 (the photo unfortunately slipped to the beginning because it was added later).

In wonderful October weather, I went on a LandStreifer tour with my son today. "Pure nature", "bathing in the forest". These were the words that ran through my head during the tour. And over and over again, "Oh, it's so beautiful here". If you want a particularly beautiful forest tour🌳 with soft ground, you've come to the right place. Every view is a highlight 🤩. To get an impression, I took lots of "path photos" today.

Inspired by many lovely comments from @Martin Outdoor🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚲⚒️, we hiked the LandStreifer "Üfter Mark" today. True to Martin's motto, "Üfter Mark is always a good idea," we'll definitely be back. We walked along wonderful wooded and sandy paths through the magnificent landscape 🌳🪵🌳. The hike was soul-warming, and our thoughts were free to wander. The ant trail 🐜🐜🐜 lived up to its name. Would you want to walk around there barefoot? 🤷🏼‍♀️ A hike on a Saturday has the charming advantage of being very few people around. This relaxed route is definitely recommended.

A very beautiful hiking trail 🍂🌿 through the autumn forest. I really enjoyed it even though I pushed myself to the limit, but it was definitely worth it. The forest had a magical effect on me 😄🍁🌿🍂🌳

We found this wonderful tour in the collection of @Thomas🌿🥾🚲, who had already done it in mid-January in completely different weather conditions. Thank you for the great suggestion, @Thomas! The forest and weather were not as enchanted and gloomy as yours today (which @Lustiges Wesen almost regretted a little), but even in today's wonderful spring weather the tour was a real pleasure: we really enjoyed the light falling on the pine and larch forest, the glow of the moss and the fine grasses, the wonderful, uninterrupted twittering of birds and the alternation of forest paths and clearings. 🌾🌺 The circuit is very easy and effortless to walk, as it has hardly any inclines and runs the whole way on pleasantly soft forest floor. As we discovered along the way, it deviates slightly from the original LandStreifer route at one point. On the original route, however, you walk a small section twice, so we stayed with Thomas' track at that point too. 🌳☀️😊

We went through the Üfter Mark on partly familiar (and very muddy) paths. A beautiful area with varied forest and good chances of seeing red deer or fallow deer. Next time I should bring my telephoto lens. The wild boars didn't show up, but the disturbed ground proves that there must be some of them. Unfortunately it didn't get really light and the hazy, cold, damp weather put a damper on my mood. The shoes had to be broken in too, so it was a shorter round.
