Discovered sights: 'Bismarck Tower Lütjenburg', 'The Hessenstein', 'Gut Panker' (a must-see), the beach 🏖️in Hohwacht, and the Flunderbar🍹 for chilling.
Today we only did a small, really comfortable last round to very beautiful places nearby and took all the time in the world. ☺️ The wind had turned today and presented us with a Baltic Sea with 🌊🌊. We haven't had that the whole time we've been here. So we took a longer break. Everything was open in Panker today, so we could have a look around the galleries and art workshops. Unfortunately, we didn't have our car for a big shopping spree. There were some great things that we really liked. It failed because of the space on the wheels. 😂 This time we had the right change with us for the complete ascent to the Hessenstein observation tower and were rewarded with a fantastic view after more than 100 steps up a spiral staircase. 😍 We are really happy that my 💓 participated so well that we were able to do so many beautiful tours with the bikes in the two weeks. That was our plan and it worked perfectly. We only walked with Komoot on the first day. Later we strayed through the city without to have a look at everything here in peace. Will most likely be our retirement home. It was an all-round successful holiday, which we would have loved to have continued. Lütjenburg, we will definitely be back. 😍🥰 Greetings to both of us 🚴♀️🚴🤗🤗
Today, a 🌞-mixed cloud cover ⛅️ and, of course, wind 🌬 . We started in Hohwacht and headed to Behrensdorf, the lighthouse, which is currently being renovated and was unfortunately covered. The beach is natural, something we've already discovered elsewhere and we really like 👍. We continued to Gut Panker, which is well worth seeing. I can't even describe everything, so follow the link https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gut_Panker , https://www.aufgutpanker.de/ . On to Hessenstein, with fantastic views all the way to Kiel. We stopped for refreshments in Lütjenburg 😋🍰☕️. A small town with typical northern German architecture, beautiful to look at. We followed the path along the Großer Binnensee back to Hohwald. A very nice loop with a varied landscape.
Today we went on the bike tour R2, which we can definitely recommend! Bismarck Tower & Hessenstein cost 1 euro entry per person.
If you are in Ostholstein, Gut Panker is an absolute must.
