The Auenlandrunde lives up to its name, because on this approximately 120-kilometer tour, you will predominantly be on wonderful riverside cycle paths along the Isar, Vils, and Danube. You will gain great insights into the wild and romantic Bavarian river and floodplain landscapes.
It starts in Deggendorf. From here, you cycle along the Isar Cycle Path (Isarradweg), the Bockerlbahn Cycle Path (Bockerlbahn-Radweg), the Vils Valley Cycle Path (Vilstalradweg), and the Danube Cycle Path (Donauradweg). You will pass Landau an der Isar, Aufhausen, and Vilshofen before returning to the starting point in Deggendorf.
You can divide the tour into two or three stages, for example. You will find guesthouses for overnight stays in both the cities and smaller towns, such as Aufhausen.

Comments
Wasn't intentionally planned, according to the GPS recording, the strong resemblance only became clear to me afterwards 😁🐺👍.
Yesterday I started my big tour in Vilshofen at 1:50 p.m.
I was actually way too 😴 after work and originally had no desire for activities anymore.
