This route was planned by komoot.
We drove to the Holzmeister inn. From there we walked at the foot of the Osser on the Almenlandweg to the Saukogel and the Sommeralm. Below the Plankogel we went to the Stoakogelhütte. After a little refreshment, we went back along the hut trail to the Kerschbaumalm. From here we went back to the car at Gasthof Holzmeister. Fantastic weather, a good view and the many different shades of green of the alpine pastures and forests made this hike an unforgettable experience.
And again caught a wonderful sunny day and a great tour 😊😎🌞
We are still traveling in Austria, but we have now arrived in Styria, specifically in Weiz. Not a special city, but we went to a concert here. Today we went hiking again. We chose a circular route in the Almenland Nature Park. The hike went over many different alpine pastures, and at a few of the pastures there were still cows on the pasture. But for the most part the animals had already been driven down. There were many beautiful views of the hills. At the end we stopped at the Stoakoglhütte. Highly recommended hike.
Over 11 kilometers through snow and ice tracks was really very strenuous today.
Easy, entertaining hike without biting passages. A detailed description of the tour can be found on Instagram at @hundefreundlich_unterwegs
