Are you ready for a real challenge on the mountain bike? Then the National Park Marathon is the Tour for you! Black arrows lead you in 80 kilometers through the beautiful nature between Maaseik and Lanaken. The route is completely off-road and can even be extended: in the north and south the routes connect to the network of Central Limburg and the Euregio.
The route (like all the other loops) is signposted in two directions, so you can encounter mountain bikers in both directions. Be sporty and give priority to other recreational users. And pay attention to the descents and climbs of course! There are quite a few hidden slopes in the Limburg forests, which make this route very varied.
Starting points for this marathon loop can be found in Lanaken, Maasmechelen, As, Dilsen and Maaseik (Opoeteren) and from Camping Zavelbos.
