At the beginning of my vacation in the Lechtal I took a simple but wonderful tour into the Frauenschuh area. This rare species of orchid usually only blooms until mid-June. But since nature is a good two weeks late this year, I had the unique chance to see everything in full bloom. I have little knowledge of botany, but that fascinated me. Although the path along the Lech has a high proportion of asphalt, as it is mainly designed as a cycle path, it offers such beautiful views of the Lech that it is just right to arrive on vacation.
