Hiking
Always keep an overview. On this almost seven-kilometer loop, you'll enjoy magnificent views – and all without any significant climbs. The loop starts at the top of the Bismarck Tower. So you can climb the 111 steps to get in the mood or save the panoramic view for the end of your tour.
The trail takes you on a beautiful loop over the Westerberg, at almost 250 meters the second highest elevation in the city of Ingelheim am Rhein. Let your gaze wander over the landscape with its picturesque vineyards and rolling hills. Along the way, you'll pass inviting rest areas every now and then. Just take it easy. At the Schloss Westerhaus winery, which towers majestically above Ingelheim, you can enjoy a wine tasting by appointment.
Back at the Bismarck Tower, you can choose between two refreshment stops, both of which serve regional cuisine. Or you can round off the day with something more exotic and visit the big cats in the neighboring Tiger Garden.

Unfortunately, we couldn't climb the Bismarck Tower, as it's currently closed due to the "Ingelheim Candle" installation. However, we were able to take a picture of the "candle" in the dark.
