On this six-kilometer hike through the picturesque Selz Valley, you can unwind and relax – and, of course, you won't miss out on culinary delights either.
The tour begins on Selztalstraße in Ober-Ingelheim. You walk out of town along the banks of the Selz River. At the beginning, you follow the road for a while before turning into the quiet Selz Valley. You hike across fields, past flowering trees and vineyards. Near Großwinternheim, you cross the Selz River and walk back along the other side of the river.
Is your stomach rumbling? Then the Eulenmühle (Eulen Mill) is just what you need. At the Eulenschänke (Eulen Tavern), you can fortify yourself and enjoy a magnificent view of the picturesque Westerhaus Castle. Back in Ober-Ingelheim, you'll find more cozy places to stop for a bite to eat. How about a tasting of the local wine to round off your tour?
