At Bremen main station you get on the saddle and roll straight into the spacious Bürgerpark. You cross it lengthways and then cycle through the adjoining city forest. Here you meet the dead straight Kuhgraben, which you follow up to the Wümme.

Here you are already in the middle of the blockland and enjoy the wonderful nature around you. Through the flat landscape it goes along the playful loops of the Wümme. On the other side of the path there are wide meadows and small brakes that are left over from earlier dike breaches.

You cycle on and on on the Wümmedeich until you meet the Kleine Wümme and change to its bank. A rich flora and fauna awaits you along this river as you drive back towards the city. With a little luck you can watch birds in the meadows or discover fish and amphibians in the water.

Soon you will reach the Stadtwaldsee and the Stadtwald behind it. After you have crossed it, you roll through the Bürgerpark again and shortly afterwards you are back at the train station, the starting point of the tour.
