Nice round tour in a great area, with beautiful autumn weather. However, we deviated from the guided Golddorf route on the last half kilometer. Because of the climbs, it is recommended to do the tour the other way around, like we did.
A wonderful hike through the beautiful Sorpe Valley. Then again through dense beech forests. The highlight for me were the covered forest swings. A visit to the Waldemei art forge is recommended. All in all a nice "Mother's Day Tour"
I actually didn't want to do any more Golddorf routes because there were too many asphalt and gravel paths. I managed to outsmart today's one. I actually wanted to do the Rothaarsteig trail, which runs partly parallel. But at some point I lost track because I was only concentrating on the golden G. But I have to say, it was a really nice tour. 😊 The signage wasn't that good in several places. So I had to do extra meters again. Conclusion: Recommended❗️ I'll come back again and do the slightly longer Rothaarsteig trail.
Finally time for a hike again. So today the Golddorf route in Niedersorpe was my goal. With a low proportion of asphalt, it was mainly on forest and meadow paths. There were numerous benches to enjoy the view and I enjoyed my picnic on a swing bench. When I got back to the parking lot, I took some fresh milk from the Hof Müller vending machine 🍶😋 mmmh delicious
Today we hiked our 5th Golddorf route in Niedersorpe🎒🥾. The start and finish 🏁 was the hiking portal directly on the main road in Niedersorpe, where 8 parking spaces 🅿️ were available. As these were all occupied, we used the parking lot 🅿️ at the community center/fire department. From here it was about 400m back to the hiking portal. The path was signposted in both directions ↔️ with a golden G on a red background; we went anti-clockwise 🔄. There is a good reason why the circular hiking trail has been awarded the title of a premium hiking trail. Again and again, longer sections lead over beautiful paths and through dense deciduous forests 🌳🌳. There are also plenty of photo 📷 motifs, be it at the Klute art forge in Waldemei, in the beautiful Lüttmecke stream valley or the beautiful views 👀 of the town, which you could enjoy from a forest sofa swing. There are also a few steep passages uphill ↗️ and downhill ↘️, but there are enough benches or forest sofas to take a breather. ‼️Above the Lüttmecke rest area, after the steep passage, make sure ⚠️ that you follow the correct golden G. This is where the Golddorf routes Niedersorpe and Holthausen meet (note the name of the town below the golden G)‼️ On the way, there is the opportunity to stop off at Deimanns Hütte. We rewarded ourselves with a delicious soft ice cream 🍦 at the Müller farm shop (opposite the hiking portal) at the destination 🏁. Conclusion: A beautiful hike that we can highly recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼
The loveliest Golddorf route there is... maybe I'm a bit biased 😜 The Sorpetal is always worth a hike. Beautiful views, old paths and plenty of places to rest
