Highlight (Segment) • Historical Site

Beautiful section of the Lonetalradweg, which runs over 41 kilometers from Amstetten to the mouth of the Lone in the Hürbe. On the way you cycle very close to nature …

Cycle path between Urspring and Amstetten

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Nice, quiet bike path between the towns of Urspring and Amstetten. Asphalt is great, you roll relaxed into the valley basin of Amstetten.

Start in Amstetten in sunny, warm weather. Via Urspring to Lonsee and further in the romantic Lonetal until just before Nerenstetten. Turn left and briefly up the hill to Börsingen and Ballendorf. On the Alb plateau to Altheim, short route through deciduous forest to Stubersheim and back to Amstetten. The cycle paths are very easy to ride, only sometimes a bit narrow in the Lone Valley. Very nice Sunday!🤩🚲☀️

We got the tour out of the prospectus of the Alb-Donau-Kreis. The round is nice to drive, initially it is comfortable on the level or even a bit downhill. From Altheim there is a lot of forest, which was very good today with the weather and from then on we didn't meet any other cyclists. But somehow we were a bit careless, we missed a few signs and drove wrong 🤦🤦

A beautiful walk in sunshine☀️☀️😎. The interesting scenery, especially the Lone Valley and the rocks near the Fohlen Haus, but also the church in Altheim/Alb and the pleasant conversation with the sexton were worth it.
