Visitors from North Rhine-Westphalia were thrilled 😊 by the family-friendly round with various refreshment stops 😋!
We did the Adebar Loop before Komoot. But that was a long time ago, and I hope not all the birds have flown south today. So I grab my cross bike to explore this biotope again. And my heart immediately fills with joy again. Beautiful, large birds, storks and grey herons, peck unafraidly at the side of the path. Their feathers glisten in the sun, and these creatures are wonderful gifts and little wonders of nature to me. Today, I cross streams, like the Mutterbach, the Erbach, and the Blies, until I finally reach the observation tower with a sweeping view over the Beeden biotope. "The perfect spot for a few photos of a large flock of geese," I think, and snap as many photos as my memory card allows. As I continue along the easy-to-ride bike path, I repeatedly encounter the Blies, which is wide here, meandering through the flat, green Blies meadows. The beautiful forest path along the Kirkeler Bach stream through another nature reserve isn't quite as easy. I even bump along "medieval" cobblestones past the towers of the high Kirkel Castle, but my cross bike and my back can handle it well. But I have to hurry; at the Gänseweiher pond before Limbach, the sky is already glowing red, as the days are getting shorter, and I conclude this peaceful, impressive loop. 😀 Info: https://www.outdooractive.com/de/route/radtour/saarpfalz-kreis/adebar-runde/6006138/ Road to Ride On · Joshua Radin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uoJW8QXv1I
Very nice lap, better not to drive at rush hour. The biotope and the surrounding area are quite full. Moderate climbs, easy to manage. Partly not paved, a small part sandy.
Another cozy 🌞 day round on the Adebar tour with friends 🙂! The family-friendly round with the stork symbol offers, in addition to the biotope Beeden 🏞 e.g. with water buffaloes 🐂 + more 🦫 🕊🦆 nice rest stops, like the 🐟🛖 Beeden, the NFH Kirkel + the Gasthof Im 🐴 Pferchtal 😋. Saugudd + was really fun! 😉
I took the Storchentour in moderate 12 degrees Celsius. It started off raining, but by the end of the trip, the sun was shining.
