The orchard tour shows you the impressive and, above all, beautiful cultural landscape of the orchards. In total, around 1.5 million tall fruit trees grow in the so-called Swabian orchard paradise. This natural form of tree growth is one of the main differences between orchards and orchards, where the trunks…

This tour is part of my collection: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/collection/933766/-tuebinger-fahrradtouren This tour is promoted by Tübingen and Schwäbische Alb Touristik. The terms are sometimes confused: sometimes it's called "Früchtetauf" (Fruit Trail) and sometimes "Streuobst" (Orchard Orchard). In any case, there are both to see. My starting point: Kressbach. The small town is significantly higher than the Neckar and Steinlach, meaning you can choose the climb: from Derendingen with a few switchbacks, from the Neckar Valley (Weilheim) it's much more manageable. The elevation gain is the same. I have the impression that I rode at exactly the right time today: The fruit trees are in full bloom, a true splendor. It's impossible to capture it properly with a camera. Soon they'll be gone, and this view will be over. I think the section between Mössingen and Gomaringen is the most beautiful! The detour to Jettenburg and Wankheim isn't really worth it; there are plenty of fields on the Härten, but hardly any fruit trees. The detour is probably more due to two restaurants located there. Newly discovered: The Ehrenbach Valley, very beautiful! So there are three ways to get to the Härten from Tübingen: 1. Past the Tübingen Schützenhaus (Tübingen Rifle Club) to the landfill in Jettenburg, close to the B28. 2. Through the Wankheimer Täle / Bläsiberg to the Aspenhausiedlung (Aspenhaus settlement) in Wankheim. 3. Through the Ehrenbach Valley to Immenhausen. My favorite since today. So, be sure to choose the right time for this tour: when the fruit trees are in bloom.
Very nice bike ride on Sunday afternoon. Start in Jettenburg at the Gasthof Kompf. Weather and temperature was ideal. Via Wankheim and Immenhausen, then cycled through the Ehrenbachtal. Past Derendingen we went up to Kreßbach to the golf course. Through meadow orchards with wonderfully blooming pear trees on to Ofterdingen and Mössingen. Past Nehren, through Gomaringen back to Jettenburg. From Nehren we pedaled harder because a thunderstorm was approaching. Stayed dry😊😎
On this beautiful 🌞 sunny day, another bike tour 🚴♂️🚴♀️ through the orchards was announced. We started in Mössingen and took our first break in Jettenburg in the garden of the Gasthof Kompf TV series: "My Local-Your Local" where the restaurant was rated very well and we can only confirm this from previous visits 🔝👍 There was another break after the Kemmlerhof on a sky lounger with a panoramic view of the Alb 👀 The beer 🍺 of the day comes from France, precisely from Champigneulles near Nancy. Finally a beer from France that I can confidently recommend A Biere de Garde Blonde. So a light one but with an impressive 7.2% vol. and in a champagne-like 0.75l bottle with a cork stopper. Everything is right here 👌😋😋
Yesterday we made a nice bike ride past beautiful colorful meadows and meadow orchards, this tour can only be recommended. Greetings Sunday cyclists
