A promising round, which is also peppered with a few wonderful refreshment stops, awaits you between Lengau and the end of the Glemmtal valley. A tour that is particularly suitable for connoisseurs, even if there is a steep climb in between.
By bus (saalbach.com/de/service/infektur/postbus-wanderbus_a_1556) or by car you first make your way to Lengau with its train station on the valley head train. This is where the signs for the “Talschluss Höhenweg” start, which will accompany you on your tour from now on. In addition, always by your side: proud mountains, such as the Staffkogel, Tristkogel, Gamshag and Schusterkogel. You don't climb it, but you can enjoy its sight.
A forest road takes you to Henlabgraben, then a narrow hiking trail up to a viewing bench above the Forsthofalm. The hut invites you to take a break until you reach the highest point of the path a short distance after it.
Via the managed Ossmannalm and the rustic and also managed Saalalm, you slowly but surely take the "homeward direction" again. You not only have the chance to fill your stomach with regional delicacies, but you can also pay a visit to the high ropes course at the Lindlingalm and the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps. You hike one last alpine pasture, the Stefflalm - then you are already back at your starting point.

In Lengau, we start straight uphill and soon come to a beautiful, rooty, stony path with magnificent views. How convenient that the weather is actually "bad" today, but still nice and warm. We even see wild horses again.
