Beautiful tour followed by a stop at beer heaven! (If I go to heaven, I'll go to this one♥️)
Peace, relaxation, nature, away from traffic - you're in the right place on the Zwiefalter Alb, even on very warm days, because the weather forecasters were predicting one. That's why we started in Zwiefalten quite early in the morning. That turned out to be an advantage, also because the climbs were mostly in the shady forest. And because after half of the route it was downhill, the midday heat was hardly noticeable because of the wind. Along the Zwiefalter Ach and over the ridge of the Tautschbuch, we first went to Mörsingen and from there through the Friedinger Tal to the Große Heuneburg. Because the forest has taken over the Celtic site, you don't see too much of it. The route led up the Wetterstetter Tal and the Kohltal to Tigerfeld and from there on tarred paths via Gossenzugen back to Zwiefalten.
