The Lautertal is a unique idyll in the Swabian Alb. On this almost 40-kilometer tour, you will get to know a particularly beautiful section. The starting point of the round tour is in Münsingen, where you can travel by train.
At the beginning you drive on lonely roads over meadows and through small forest sections. After about 17 kilometers, the long descent into the Lautertal begins. A wonderful panorama opens up to you from the street.
Now you follow the countless meanders of the quietly babbling Lauter. Small natural paradises line your path and you can always stop briefly and watch nature. In Buttenhausen you leave the wonderful idyll and after a long climb you have arrived back in Münsingen.

Today we decided to go on a bike ride – we chose a less strenuous tour that was also manageable for my dear Nicole.
We first cycled from Münsingen into the Heutal valley and then turned off in Unterheutal to Bremelau. We then passed the Kochstetten farm and descended into the Lautertal valley to Indelhausen.

The Lautertal from Dapfen downstream to Indelhausen. Simply fantastic! Very good paths away from vehicle traffic, right next to the Lauter.
It makes many loops here and numerous castle ruins line the valley.
Lots of seating by the water and one or two outhouses show that the planners had something in mind. Rock formations are reminiscent of …
