I had to take advantage of the wonderful weather today and so I drove to the Würzbacher Weiher. From there I then tackled the Mariannenweg "Würzbachschleife". I had to overcome a few inclines, but it was still a great hike.
Comfortable spring hike with G🧒, F🧒 and U🧑. Stop at the Annahof beer garden, where we ate our way through the tarte flambée menu.😋
The path follows the traces of the baroque of Countess Marianne von der Leyen from Niederwürzbach and back again. On the way, fantastic views of the wide Bliesgaul landscape and the forest area around Niederwürzbach open up again and again. Bliesgau: Panoramic circular hiking trail The "Würzbachschleife" of the Mariannenweg starts at the Würzbacher Weiher, the former summer residence of the imperial counts of the Leyen with the red building, the Annahof and the Philippsburg. These make the baroque age seem alive to this day. The path leads past the Lourdes Grotto in Niederwürzbach back towards Blieskastel, over the Würzbacher Berg and the "Lettkaul" motocross track back to the local recreation area Würzbacher Weiher.
🌥️🚶🏻♀️🐕 A trail retracing the steps of Countess Marianne von der Leyen 👑, starting in Niederwürzbach. The route begins at Würsbach Pond, the former summer residence of the Counts von der Leyen 👑, with the Red House, the Annahof Mansion, and Philippsburg Castle—three Baroque-era buildings, of which only the first two remain. The trail then loops through the forest around Mount Kieselberg, along the Stations of the Cross and the Lourdes Grotto of Niederwürzbach. Finally, a route through the forest on the other side of the town leads to Mount Petersberg and the Lettkaul motocross track.
