Very nice bike tour through nature, You should take into account that most of the paths are unpaved or gravel. Nevertheless, highly recommended as a nice short bike tour (<30km)
Just one photo, since so many others did the tour before me and you can look there.
Our first tour with the e-bike. Started on the blue in St. Ingbert. The bike path mostly runs through forests. Sometimes you have to cross the road, but it's not that bad. Will repeat the tour if the weather is nice, as there are many opportunities to drink or eat outdoors.
Unfortunately there was a lot of mud on the track at the moment. 😟
We started the tour at the parking lot of the Blau (outdoor and indoor swimming pool) in St. Ingbert. It goes to the Wommbacher Weiher, then past Rohrbach to the Glashütte Weiher and over the Geistkircher Hof past Hassel to the Niederwürzbacher Weiher. We turned around this one, which the route does not provide, but it was worth it. Via Oberwürzbach we go to St. Ingbert, where we ended the tour in the pedestrian zone just a few hundred meters from the start on the Blau. The paths are often paved with gob-grain stones, you have to be careful here. The increase is moderate except for 2 places. The route from Oberwürzbach to Reichenbrunn takes the country road. The Niederwürzbacher Weiher in particular is worth seeing and offers the opportunity to stop off at several places. The signage is sometimes difficult to see, so a GPS is useful.
Family-friendly tour with (again) many opportunities to linger 🙂. Met friends and acquaintances and had a lot of fun with the new tricycle 😄 at 🌞. The organic biker was able to keep up, but was left behind on the mountain 🤪.
