Are you in the mood for a really exciting mountain bike adventure straight out of a picture book? Then the tour through the Wildenbach Gorge is made for you. The tour starts in Sankt Martin bei Lofer. First you drive flat to Obsthurn.
And then it really starts. On a trail that was partially cut into the rock, you drive up while the Wildenbach ripples through the gorge next to you. A wonderful nature experience! Every now and then the path is briefly steep, but those who love their bike also like to push a bit.
As soon as you have reached the St. Georg chapel with its wooden tower, you have left the inclines behind you and can rest and enjoy the unique mountain panorama. You drive back to Sankt Martin through the Wildental. While you enjoy the flowing descent, you are surrounded by a delightful landscape. If you still have a little time, you can make a detour to the Strohwollner Gorge in Strohwolln.
