A beautiful tour in the lovely Tauber Valley. Got lost twice but got it straight away. Of course there were a few climbs to overcome, which experienced hikers can easily manage. On a small gorge path near Archshofen, going up, it could be unpleasant in rainy weather. There are also a few asphalt paths. But for this time of year it is a really great tour.
It starts in Creglingen, past the Lindlein Tower. This is part of the city wall and houses a small museum, which is open on weekends. Past old gardens you walk in the direction of the Herrgottskirche and the Thimble Museum. Then you get to Münster. Here there is the fire brigade tower, which is well worth seeing, and lots of old houses, some of which are threatened with decay. The path to Archshofen leads over a hill. Sometimes you have a beautiful view, sometimes it goes through the forest. The Tauber is crossed in Archshofen. It goes uphill again and along the slope back to Creglingen. The path has many benches where you can take a break. There was no food on the way. In Creglingen, however, there are bakers, butchers, grocery stores, pizzerias, cafés and ice cream parlors (ice cream was very good!)
