A lot of originality on a short route: this circular hike near Münsingen leads on natural paths through the nature reserve on the Beutenlay mountain. You will discover a typical juniper heather that is tended by sheep, the three-field farming and the Hutewald. There are many opportunities to sit down…

We got a little off the path twice, so it's better to hike with the app
Wonderful tour on beautiful meadows, and then a stroll in Münsingen 👍
It is definitely too close to everything to really immerse yourself in nature. But we stayed at the Hopfenburg and from there it was a nice, idyllic and, with the inclines, quite hearty morning tour. You can do it, but because of the lack of challenge and the short distance, it's certainly not worth the trip on its own. Even if we were rarely able to discover natural beauty. And that at the end of October.
And again a high-altitude hike, again of the "little kind", because my dearest mum accompanied me today. A nice tour in the Beutenlay nature reserve, Münsingen's local mountain. Today with a mix of sun and clouds, and sometimes a fresh breeze. But it was a lot warmer. I can't really say more about it, spending time with my mom is very precious. Of course with Zoya by our side ... who unfortunately had to get along without water today ... but you see, we had fun, the picture shows what kind of slacker she can be ... just snuck into the picture 😂😂. I wish you a nice evening and send you best regards ☘️💫🙋♀️🐾
What a wonderful walk. "The Beutenlay, the 800m high local mountain of Münsingen, allows a glimpse into the past. When all the fields were not yet machine-friendly divided and straightened, the Alb looked like it can still be seen here. Hut forests, meadows with one meadow, sheep pastures with juniper on a species-rich calcareous grassland, copses and hedges can be admired in a very small space. Numerous views with seating allow the hiker to come down." I can only confirm the description from the hiking booklet!
Popular picturesque tour near Münsingen. Many benches on the way, many trees for children to climb. Partly path goes along the railway line and you can see trains. Just nice :)

This tour is particularly beautiful in autumn, when the forests of the Swabian Alb are wonderfully colorful 🍂🍁🍃
