Are you looking for a nice mix of nature, idyll and tranquility today? Then the eleven-kilometer Morretalweg is just right for you. In a varied up and down you hike through the forest and over meadows until you then dive into the Morretal. It starts at the hiking car park at the forest swimming pool in Buchen.
To get the circulation going, the path first leads you uphill over the ridge of the Bulau forest area to the Unterneudorfer Mühle. Then it goes a bit downhill again, over the Krebsbächle and uphill again. You walk past the tranquil village of Stürzenhardt and finally descend into the valley. On the banks of the Morre, you've earned a break for the time being.
The Morre is a total of 22 kilometers long and flows together with the Marsbach at Schneeberg to the Billbach. Together, the two begin their journey towards the Main. The Morretal definitely offers you a lot of relaxed hiking fun: You stroll along the banks of the river and pass several beautiful resting places along the way. You will then reach the hiking car park again sooner than you would like. How about a refreshment in the forest swimming pool at the end of the round?
