The Murgtal cycle path takes you to the quarry in Raumünzach. You pass beautiful bathing spots on the Murg. After the forester's house, a small trail goes over a bridge to a popular bathing spot. After the quarry, the route continues on good gravel paths to Hundsbach. Here, the trail goes steeply uphill. Then it descends slightly to the dam. The dam is ideal for a rest and for swimming. A little more uphill and then always downhill towards Bermersbach. If you prefer to use a trail for the descent, you can use the Murgleiter as a guide. The even geography and good surface make the tour a great pusher route.
Nice weather, so we headed out and headed towards Hundsbach. We had a little chat there, continued towards Aschenplatz, where the road was closed to the right, we went up to the left to the Hundseck ski lift, the path continued over the road, then the Birkenau to the Schwallung, Bernhardus Hütte, Holzschuhrack, Haulerweg and home. Nice tour in the best weather, finally through the fog.
