Proud deer, fantastic views and plenty of nature - more variety than on the approximately twelve kilometer long LandStreifer Reken-Lembeck-Haltern "Wild Wald Weitsicht" is hardly possible! We recommend that you plan a little more time for this great hike, because in addition to lots of greenery, you can also explore…

This route was planned by komoot.
Very nice tour. Very muddy and slippery in places due to the weather, but otherwise really good. Nice view. I only climbed halfway up the fire watchtower today.
Great autumn tour between Reken, Dorsten-Lembeck and Haltern am See. The start was at the car park very close to the nature park house of the biological station. Right at the beginning, the route at the junction from the Im Höltken path to the Torfweg was closed due to forestry work. The diversion led through a wonderfully wild forest area that would probably have remained hidden from me without the closure. A wonderful experience, especially now in autumn, when the trees are starting to change color and in the middle of wide areas of golden-brown ferns.🍁🍃🍂🌿🌤️
To finish off the three days of the Panoramasteig, we set off very early today towards Hohe Mark before half of the Ruhr area sets off😀😀. Accompanied by the spring concert of the local songbird choir, we went through forest and fields in wonderful weather on this land roamer that lived up to its name😃😃👍👍
Very comfortable through the green landscape, hidden object picture with deer is included 😄 and on the way back stop by Tante Guste, open Thursday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Delicious ☕️🥧🍰🍺
I had actually planned to visit the optician today. Wandermuddi needs new glasses. 🤓 But since the weather today was more suitable for hiking boots 🥾🥾, the optician just has to wait until the rain comes. That was clearly a great decision. Although the journey there was quite tiring through very crowded streets. 🫣 But when we arrived, the focus went straight to the round. I've been around the area several times before, but this round was new. Copied from komoot. Really nice paths. Apart from two crossings, no road. The wildlife park and of course the fire lookout tower were the highlights. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🗼🦌 You can take a little walk around the Granat Park. Nice view of the large complex. A visit (which was not planned here) is definitely worth it. Been here before when the kids were little. The park is roughly halfway along the route. The “way back” from here is just through the forest and straight ahead.
A real adventure for nature lovers and action lovers! The hike winds through dense forests, burbles past sparkling streams and offers spectacular views that will make even the most tired eyes shine. With every step you immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature, while the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves play a harmonious symphony. It is the perfect moment to turn your back on everyday stress and enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest. Whether alone or with friends and family - this trip will definitely be an unforgettable experience and a warm embrace from Mother Nature!
This afternoon I finally had time for a little walk and continued hiking on the Landstreifer Challenge 😎. In the humid weather it was a nice tour, which mainly leads through the Hohe Mark. The "wild" was supposed to be seen at the Granat Nature Park, but it hid from me. But there were nice views of the fields and meadows. Not the best Landstreifer so far, didn't really catch my attention, but it can't always be like that 😎.
