This short circular mountain bike route is a flat route with no technical difficulty, making it an ideal ride for the whole family. Water is the star of the day, as the aim is to discover the transformation of the landscape caused by the construction of the Séquia de Manresa in the Middle Ages.
The route starts in the parc de l'Agulla, whose emblematic lake is filled thanks to this medieval canal that transports water from the Llobregat river from Balsareny. The route runs through an enormous diversity of crops along traffic-free roads used only by agricultural vehicles.
Besides crossing the irrigation channel a couple of times, you will have the opportunity to visit the Bòbila wetland, a refuge for amphibians and birds among fields, and enjoy the silhouette of Montserrat cutting the horizon with its sharp peaks.
Access to the route is easy from the center of Manresa, where you can return once you have finished cycling to enjoy its monuments and gastronomy.
