This route was planned by komoot.
A varied circuit above Unterjesingen: vineyards, forest, meadows, views. Everything included.
Nice hike through the vineyards near Unterjesingen. You always have a view of the Wurmlinger Chapel and, if the view is good, of the Hohenzollern Castle.
Beautiful scenery, great vineyards. It is best to take a bottle of wine with you and enjoy it on one of the many benches along the way. 😀
Lots of ups and downs, so a bit strenuous. One section was suddenly closed due to a landslide, so I had to improvise by climbing steep vineyard steps.
Other directions assume an altitude of 240 meters. My smartphone always shows too little. The premium hiking trail "Unterjesinger Wengertwegle" combines on a relatively short distance, as is usual for premium hiking trails, a varied route, diverse landscape impressions and breathtaking panoramic views. It is named after the "Wengert", the Swabian word for "vineyard", because it leads along and through steep vineyards below the Schönbuchtrauf, but also through gentle hills with idyllic orchards and through cool forest sections. Wonderful views open up again and again in the course of the tour: Let your gaze wander over the Ammertal and the Wurmlinger Kapellenberg to the Swabian Alb - from the Rossberg from the Gewann "Obere Gôgenhalde" ("Gôgen" are called "Wengerter" in Tübingen) in the southeast over the Hohenzollern in the south to Plettenberg in the southwest. Information about the hiking trail: https://touren.tuebinger-umwelten.de/mobile/de/tour/wanderung/fruechtetrauf-unterjesinger-wengertwegle/16117577/
The "Unterjesinger Wengertwegle" is a "walking trail" and therefore consists mostly of easy-to-walk paths and trails without overly steep ascents or descents. In the vineyards you have a wonderful view of the Wurmlinger Chapel. I walked the path in the opposite direction to the recommended direction.
🌞 Took advantage of the sunny morning and collected a few impressions in the morning freshness. The path itself is under repair in one place ⛏️ and in another, a sporting challenge that gets the circulation going, because morning dew 💧 on the shoes 👟 👟 brings refreshment to the socks 😉 and for the rest of the day 🤗😄
