Torrskog Church

Highlight • Religious Site

Torrskog Church in Bengtsfors was built between 1766 and 1768 and has largely retained its original form. Inside, it features rich artworks, including a Baroque pulpit and an 18th-century altarpiece. The church also holds medieval items, such as a 13th-century baptismal font and a 14th-century Madonna sculpture.

Röttjären Lake is a beautiful lake nestled in a pristine forest. There are many trails in the area, especially the Torrskogsleden. It is an area that is very popular for hiking and walking due to the remote nature of the environment. Not far away is the Torrskog Observation Tower.

The Torrskog Observation Tower is a scenic lookout set right on top of a hill in a pristine forest not far from Torrskog Village. From its platform you can get beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding forest wilderness and over towards Lake Lelång.

After 3 days of canoeing, I had a day off today which I used for a hike. Great nature and completely alone in the forest.
The last 2 days it hasn't been possible to record the canoe route. Komoot said there was no GPS. I hope it works again tomorrow.
