Svaneholm Castle

Svaneholm Castle was built as the successor to a castle a little away from the former location of the old castle on an island in the Swedish Gothic Renaissance style. It houses a museum and a restaurant. The collections in the Swaneholm Castle Museum, much of which is displayed on the four floors of the castle, include more than 13,000 catalogued objects, archaeological finds and more than 350,000 photo negatives.

On our journey through Sweden, we're like Nils Holgersson. We visited his school. He may have also stopped here at Svaneholm Castle with Martin; in any case, they flew over it.
