The beautiful round tour through the Neckar, Elz and Seebach valleys begins in Mosbach, which you can easily reach with the S-Bahn. Of course, you can also join the bike tour in all other places along the route.
Immediately behind Mosbach you dive into the beautiful, natural Elz Valley and cycle past countless mills. In Limbach you leave the Elz and reach the Seebachtal via Krumbach and Robern.
Here you pass the idyllic Roberner See and then roll along the Seebach through deep forests to the Neckar Valley to Neckargerach. In the place the Seebach flows into the Neckar.
On the beautiful Neckaruferweg you follow the loops of the river and enjoy wonderful views of the water, the bank slopes and wide fields around you. At Neckarelz you reach the Elz estuary and attach yourself to the small river that brings you back to Mosbach.

Completely spontaneously and without much thought, I chose the 3 Valleys Cycle Route today 👍. I have to say: a good decision 👍👍. Through the Elz Valley up into the Odenwald and to Lake Robern 😀. I returned through the Seebach Valley down to Neckargerach. I treated myself to a quick detour to Lake Neckargerach before cycling back home through the Neckar Valley. This is how Sunday can start 👍😀👍
Today, after a long time, we decided to do the 3-valley cycle path again. Currently not recommended, in the area between the federal road Lohrbach-Weisbach to Laufersmühle about 500m closed in the middle of the forest (no advance notices on the route), path renovation, very limited mobile, rather only on foot. Since there is no work on the sun, we can walk through the construction site, otherwise about 2-3 km back and take a parallel path. Also on the Neckar between Mörtelstein and Obrigheim nuclear power plant, full closure, civil engineering work on the sewage treatment plant along the road that no longer exists due to the construction site. A parallel path, asphalt or gravel, can be taken above mortar stone. The 3 Valleys Cycle Path can only be cycled via detours. The path should not be free again until August or September.
Very pleasant and above all absolutely quiet tour in the Elztal and Seebachtal. To start with, a stroll through Mosbach. Then a relaxing quiet along the valley with meadows and forest. The church of St. George in Rittersbach is very remarkable. Inside there are copies of the world-famous paintings of the Reichenau St. George Church from the 10th century. A pleasant stop at the "junction" of Limbach, followed by another absolutely quiet route, endlessly long and downhill in the Seebachtal via Robern to Neckargerach in the Neckartal. Highly recommended tour due to the peace and quiet in the valleys without any traffic noise, as well as the St. George Church in Rittersbach, which is worth seeing. It was lovely 😁
A tour that can be enjoyed even in high temperatures.
Luckily we didn't pay any attention to the barrier signs - all paths were perfectly passable. Add to that sunny weather and good company -> Odenwald at its best!
The cycle path leads past natural corners of the Odenwald, which present themselves in changing colors from spring to autumn.

why does the Limbach-Krumbach route take the country road instead of the hiking railway?
