From the town hall in Berghaupten, you first go along the road to the Pappelwaldsee. From there, you go uphill along the ridge path, partly on narrow paths past Sägereck, Barack and through the Heiligenwald.

Today, on Hubert's recommendation, I did the Steinfirst circular trail in Berghaupten, it was mainly on beautiful paths in the forest, only the Mugge 🦟 were very penetrating today. From Bermersbach the signage wasn't that good, so I walked the last stretch back to Berghaupten on the bike path.
